The Department of Human Services (DHS), Selinsgrove Center is seeking dedicated and energetic Custodial Workers to provide custodial care in our facility. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Custodial Worker 1, you will complete manual and machine operating tasks in the custodial care of institutional buildings and surrounding grounds. You will perform basic housekeeping and maintain a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will also safely operate mechanical housekeeping equipment, perform preventative maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns, and properly clean tools. Ongoing training will be offered to expand housekeeping skills and develop new skills to meet the needs of Selinsgrove Center. In addition, you will remove snow, ice, and excessive water to maintain safe conditions and prevent accidents. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
