Meadowview of Clive is hiring a Culinary Supervisor who want to work  in a new, state of the art kitchen. As a Culinary Supervisor at Meadowview of Clive, you will be preparing meals to order, exploring recipes, and providing top-notch communication and service to residents and guests at our senior assisted living community while managing staff.  No Late Nights! Position Type: Part-Time Wage Range: $20 - $23 /hour depending on experience Shifts Available: Weekends Location: 3300 Berkshire Parkway, Clive, IA 50325 Culinary Supervisor Responsibilities: + Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests. + Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service. + Supervise weekend staff + Observe and report on resident change of condition or changes in ability. + Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards. + Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community. + Perform additional tasks as required. Culinary Supervisor Qualifications: + 1 year of prior supervising experience required. + 1 - 2 years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen required. + A passion for cooking. + Ability to speak and read English. + Basic math skills. + Ability to work independently and follow instruction. + Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with others.
