The CTE Teacher assigned to support Morse High School is responsible for teaching four (4) sections of Food/Prep and Nutrition, one (1) section of Agricultural Biology, and one (1) section of Agricultural Chemistry: Examples of Duties: The CTE Teacher (Agriculture/Science) duties include but not limited to: Educate students about the principles of nutrition, healthy eating, and food preparation, often incorporating practical cooking skills. Educate students about agriculture, food science, and natural resources, equipping them with skills in science, math, communication, leadership, management, and technology Educate students about the chemical principles underlying agricultural practices (soil chemistry, plant nutrition, pesticide development, and food safety)
Requirements / QualificationsQualified candidates must have a Designated Credential – Agriculture and Natural Resources. Additional credential preferred: single subject Biology or Chemistry
