Job Summary:

Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT/XRAY Technologist performs various CT procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Obtains high quality images, which are interpreted by a radiologist in the evaluation of disease or abnormality. Assists radiologists or other staff physicians in the performance of diagnostic CT procedures whenever required. This position also requires proficiency in performing general radiography, laboratory procedures, and related patient care according to physician orders. Ensures decisions made are based on Family Centered Care philosophy.

Required Qualifications

Education: Associate degree (or equivalent to become A.R.R.T registered).Must have completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). • Must have and maintain ODH registration with the State Medical Board.CPR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be registered by the ARRT. MRI Resource Pool technologists are required to be MRI‑registered upon hire and must have a minimum of one year of clinical experience.

Certification: CPR certified
