Job Overview:

The CT Technologist performs proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders. Provides patient service using diagnostic cat scan equipment. Technologist is competent in the production of quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of approved school of Radiologic TechnologyNJ licenseARRT CertificationBLS through American Heart Association

Preferred:

ARRT-CT certification

Scheduling Requirements:

Night Shift - Weekends ONLYBaylor - 24 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Assist in minor surgical proceduresCompetent in the operation of all CT equipment and software (IDX, TDS, Fusion, and ARS Telerad)Ongoing daily calibration and preventive maintenance as assigned by the LeadPerform radiographic procedures as required by physicianReconstructs images into 3D formatMaintain stock levels and cleanliness of areaPerforms all other duties as assigned
