Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

Able to perform all CT exams within scope of practice, capable of obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding, and knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedureAble to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate formsMaintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department
Job Requirements

Required

Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology andMinimum of 12 months of experience as a Radiologic TechnologistRegistered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire andMedical Radiographer: ND, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days andRegistered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 18 - months
