**Overview** **Position:** **CT Technologist** **Location: Cincinnati North** **Schedule: Per Diem** **SSH-Cincinnati North** is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. We help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives – and every team member plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way. **Responsibilities** + Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment. + Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies. + Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy. + Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician. + Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly. + Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions. + Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones. **Qualifications** Minimum Qualifications: + At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required). + At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school). + Must have ARRT or CMRT certification. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. + Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
