Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for greeting patients in the waiting room, explaining the examination process, and answering any questions under provider supervision. You will also manage and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered to ensure the delivery of quality images. Additionally, you will be responsible for requesting and ordering supplies as necessary to always keep materials on hand, and for selecting and operating equipment as directed.

ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist patients in the waiting room.Explain examination processes clearly to patients.Answer patient questions with supervision from a provider.Request and manage supplies to maintain necessary stock levels.Evaluate completed tests for quality and completeness.Select and operate imaging equipment as required.Essential SkillsCertified in ARRT or NMTCB with required paperwork for diagnostic CTs filed with the state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Experience in CT or completion of a certified CT program.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s degree preferred.Training in computer-assisted tomography.Work Environment

Work in the largest private hospital in Washington, D.C., with a great opportunity to learn. New working hours are Monday to Friday evenings (3pm-11pm) and weekends Saturday to Sunday nights (7pm-7am).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $85.00/hr.
