We are searching for the best talent for a **Primary R&D CT Lead Technical Specialist** to support our Endo Surgery group. _This role will be located in Cincinnati, OH and will be fully on-site 5 days per week_ .
**Purpose** : Working in the Computed Tomography lab you will lead a team of technicians & collaborate with medical device design teams to provide engineering support for R&D devices. Our team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists are in the forefront of technology in the medical device industry.
**You will be responsible for** :
+ Coordinate and manage day to day operations within the Microfocus Computed Tomography lab, including:
+ Guiding workflow through the CT lab, which includes delegating team members and scheduling test equipment
+ Lead weekly workload meetings with the CT group and participate in recurring leadership meetings.
+ Collaborating with R&D teams, engineers, and test requestors to understand requirements and develop guidance to solve problems using in house CT equipment.
+ Performing hands on testing including operation of the microfocus CT scanning equipment as well as digital CT & metrology software.
+ Lead CT Lab capability presentations to guests, visitors, internal teams & leadership.
+ Ensuring accuracy in data collection.
+ Maintain quality compliant lab and machine related standard operating procedures.
+ Managing the stock of laboratory supplies to maintain necessary inventory levels.
+ Monitoring and maximizing the uptime of laboratory equipment.
+ Coordinating and documenting the maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
+ Interacting with equipment vendors and service technicians.
+ Ensuring compliance with laboratory regulations and safety protocols.
+ Providing support during audits when necessary.
**Qualifications / Requirements** :
+ Associate Degree or higher in STEM related discipline or equivalent work experience **required** .
+ Minimum of 2+ years experience with Industrial Non-Destructive CT/X-Ray testing (North Star Imaging/Zeiss or other equivalent equipment) **required** .
+ Ability to understand engineering design intent to conceptualize and develop test procedures and interpret the data produced is **required** .
+ Analytical ability with creative thinking and problem-solving skills applied to product testing is **required** .
+ Experience with Digital Metrology software (VG Studio, Geomagic, Polyworks, Zeiss Inspect, etc) is _strongly preferred_ .
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role _preferred_ .
+ Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Siemens NX) is _preferred_ .
+ Experience in managing multiple parallel projects in a diverse team environment is _preferred_ .
+ This position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and may involve up to 10% travel.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$76,000.00 - $121,900.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
