CSSP Account Management Officer
The CSSP Account Management Officer is responsible for managing, securing, and maintaining user accounts for all Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) subscribers and personnel across dedicated systems. This role ensures that users have the proper access and functionality they need from day one, while enforcing strict cybersecurity and compliance standards through role-based access control (RBAC). Responsibilities Create and configure user accounts for all CSSP subscribers and personnel, ensuring proper access and functionality. Conduct regular account management activities, including monitoring account activity, identifying inactive accounts, and promptly deactivating accounts for departing users. Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues, providing timely technical support to minimize operational disruptions. Implement and enforce RBAC policies, tailoring permissions based on system requirements and user roles. Maintain compliance with security policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Collaborate with IT security teams to support audits, reviews, and investigations related to account management. Document account management processes and maintain accurate records. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field preferred). 4 years of relevant experience OR 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree. Strong knowledge of account management practices, RBAC, and access control policies. Hands-on experience with account provisioning, monitoring, and deactivation processes. Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, compliance requirements, and audit processes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide effective technical support. Desired Qualifications Experience in a Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) environment. Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures (if applicable).
