Job Title: CSR/Supply Chain Coordinator (Textile Industry)

Job Description

Join a growing supply chain team in the textile and fiber industry and help manage the flow of raw fiber materials into real-world manufacturing across sectors such as bedding, furniture, automotive, pet products, hygiene, and other consumer goods. In this role, you will serve as a key contact for customers, coordinate logistics from origin to final delivery, and gain hands-on exposure to how global supply chains operate upstream and downstream. You will develop practical skills in shipment tracking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in supply chain, operations, or account management within a small, family-owned business where your impact is highly visible.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and support their day-to-day operational needs.Track and manage shipments from origin through final delivery, ensuring on-time and accurate execution.Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve issues that could impact production schedules or delivery timelines.Coordinate closely with sales, operations, and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution of orders and shipments.Maintain accurate shipment tracking logs, reports, and order status updates using Excel-based tools.Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer and internal requirements.Support logistics coordination activities across the global textile and fiber supply chain, including upstream and downstream flows.Collaborate with internal teams to manage material substitutions and help navigate supply constraints.Develop and maintain an understanding of different fiber types, specifications, and customer requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement of processes by sharing observations and suggesting enhancements to workflows and tools.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple shipments and documents.Ability to stay organized and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.Comfort using Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and order management.Willingness and ability to learn new systems and tools quickly, including ERP platforms.Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting customer needs and resolving issues promptly.Demonstrated interest in supply chain, logistics, or operations.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain clean, reliable records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Internship or prior experience in customer service, logistics, or administrative roles.Familiarity with ERP systems and their role in order management and supply chain visibility.Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP software.Exposure to SAP or other enterprise resource planning tools.Understanding of logistics processes, including shipment coordination and documentation.Interest in developing product knowledge related to fiber types, specifications, and material substitutions.Motivation to work in a small, family-owned company where you can wear multiple hats and take on varied responsibilities.Desire to build a long-term career path in supply chain, operations, or account management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite role based in West LA, with core hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and occasional overtime as business needs arise. You will work in a small, family-owned company environment where collaboration is close-knit, communication is direct, and individual contributions are highly visible. The role offers exposure to both upstream and downstream aspects of the supply chain, including interaction with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners. You will regularly use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP, and other digital tools for shipment tracking, data entry, and documentation. The setting is professional and office-based, with a focus on learning, cross-functional collaboration, and gaining hands-on experience in the global textile and fiber supply chain.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.50/hr.
