About the Role

Support the Associate Director in driving financial planning, performance management, and strategic initiatives across Pension, Employee Benefits, and IVS business lines. The role will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and sales strategy execution, with a strong focus on operational excellence and stakeholder collaboration

A core focus of this position is to ensure robust departmental General Operating Expense (GOE) management, reinforcing financial discipline and cost efficiency. The incumbent will also be responsible for enhancing management reporting frameworks to provide timely, insightful updates to senior leadership

Roles and Responsibilities:

Expense Management

Champion a culture of financial discipline by enforcing budgetary controls and promoting cost-conscious decision-making across all CS functionsMonitor and manage operating expenses to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial targetsLead regular expense review sessions with section heads to identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance transparency, and drive accountability

Finance Management and Planning

Support the preparation and consolidation of financial forecasts and annual budgets across CS business linesAnalyse key performance indicators (e.g., VONB, OPBT, TWPI, AUM) to inform business reviews and strategic decisionsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting

Sales Strategy Support

Partner with Distribution teams to execute sales strategies and campaign initiatives that drive business growthAssist in the design and administration of incentive programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance goalsProvide analytical support to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of sales initiatives

Pension Portfolio Management

Deliver analytical and operational support on pension-related matters, including new fund setup, assumption reviews, and regulatory responsesCollaborate with Finance and Actuarial teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and sound financial governancePrepare documentation and participate in Fund Review Committee meetings as required

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Business Management / Accounting / Commerce / FinanceAt least 5 years reporting working experience in an Insurance Company/ Fund management company preferableProficient computer software skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)Staff management development skillsStaff coaching and counseling skillsProblem solving skillsData Analytics skillsFluent written and spoken English and Chinese / Cantonese
