As a CS Associate Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our financial and business objectives through detailed and timely financial analysis and reporting. You'll work cross-functionally with CDSD operations, Commercial and Ops Finance to resolve issues related to revenue, costs, contract values, billing, balance sheet management, financial reporting, financial tools, and processes.
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative functions in support of Operations Finance, ensuring timely, quality, and consistent reporting.Assist in financial management of project portfolios and special assignments.Support the preparation of contract modifications, change notifications, contract values, and contract outputs.Prepare payment schedules and generate reports for invoicing backups, maintaining cash neutrality.Coordinate with other staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, collection of all amounts, and exact clearance of final balances.Complete month-end and closeout related activities.Assist with documentation and reporting for audit compliance.Track and maintain project information and budgets within the project accounting system.Run reports for internal and external meetings.Job ComplexityThis role involves working on problems of limited scope, following standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data.
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant academic field.Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (0 to 1 year).Equivalency in education, training, or directly related experience will be considered sufficient.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients.Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while delivering high-quality results.Good analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to handle data efficiently.Good written and oral communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs is an advantage.Diligent with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Sound knowledge of accounting/financial principles and regulations. Professional accounting qualifications like ACCA/CPA/CIMA are an advantage.Working Conditions and EnvironmentWork is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.Long hours may be required, including some overlap with UK/US time-zones during month-end.Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day, with repetitive hand movements.Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and twisting of upper body and neck.Ability to access and use various computer software.Frequent interaction with diverse organizations to acquire or relate information.Ability to perform under stress and multi-task effectively.
