An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and motivated person to fill the role of a Fixed Plant / Crusher Operator at our Nudgee Recycling Facility, just north of Brisbane’s CBD. The successful applicant must be a self-motivated, team orientated individual, who is able to work unsupervised and possess an understanding of the quarrying and concrete industry as well as relevant safety and environmental legislation.  A background in mining, mineral sands, crushing hard rock will be highly regarded.  
 

This position will report directly to the Site Manager. On average, rostered hours are generally 6am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday, 6am to 12pm midday Saturdays when required. 
 

In your new role with us, you will:

Day to day fixed plant maintenance, including plant inspections, crusher inspections etc.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping around the fixed plant area.

Maintain a high level of standard towards Company Policies and Directives including: Safety, Quality and Environmental management.

Operate the crushing plant.
 

This role is a great fit for you if you:

Have a high level of Health and Safety Standards 

Hold a current driver’s license

Have previous experience within a labour-intensive role

Are experienced with crushing and screening fixed plant (preferred)

Hold current tickets in: Working at Heights & Confined space would be an advantage but not essential.
