Crusher Opeartor
You are an experienced Crusher Operator who takes pride in the safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment in a surface pit operation. You will be operating a jaw and cone crusher to process mineral materials to support site development operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

Safe and efficient operation of jaw and cone crushers to meet production targetsUnderstanding of crushing systems; including pulley, belts, and conveyors to safely operate equipmentConduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activitiesMaintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, and reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concernsComplete production reporting and other documentation as requiredCommunicate effectively and professionally with other team membersBe a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures including MSHAMaintain fall protection and hosting & rigging requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of previous plant crusher experience is preferredExperience operating 980/988 loadersValid MSHA p. 48 metal/nonmetal is preferredMust have valid photo identificationSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug and alcoholMust be able to pass respirator fit test requirements

Work Conditions:

5 days on with 4 days off, working 12-hour days that has the potential to alternate between a day and night shift rotationOvertime rates apply after 40 hours per week and are paid at time and a half   Living out allowance provided for those who qualify  Extended Health & Wellness Benefits provided   Site based position where work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions with long term opportunities for employment
