Learn more at: Our Company | Pearson plc **Role overview and purpose:** We are seeking a creative and experienced CRO Specialist to join Pearson’s global Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven expertise in conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and digital analytics to make a measurable impact on the growth of our flagship product – the Pearson Test of English (PTE). You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, product, UX, and development to design, build, run, and evaluate digital experiments and content enhancements that drive engagement and conversions, and improve the user journey. Your insights will influence strategy, roadmap priorities, and digital experience improvements that reach millions of learners worldwide. This role is ideally suited to collaborators who can balance creative and analytical skills, and who love getting hands-on with testing and experimentation. The role is part of a globally spread, English-speaking team. Successful candidates will also be able to take advantage of on-the-job learning and professional development. **Key responsibilities** **Conversion Rate Optimisation & Reporting** + Work with the eCommerce & Optimization Manager to define conversion goals and identify key areas for optimization. + Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, checkout flows, and campaign assets. + Analyse user behavior using tools such as Google Analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, SEO software, and funnel analysis to uncover insights and opportunities. + Contribute to and maintain a structured testing roadmap, ensuring tests are prioritized, documented, and evaluated against clear business goals. + Collaborate with designers and developers to build, implement, and test variants using CRO tools such as VWO or Optimizely. + Produce regular reporting dashboards and present clear, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders across marketing and product. + Support the team in developing and testing cross-channel engagement tactics **Content Optimization** + Write clear, compelling marketing copy for test variants – including headlines, CTAs, modals, snack bars, banners, and other marketing interventions. + Ensure all content reflects Pearson’s brand voice, UX standards, and is optimized for both conversion and discoverability. + Use SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) to research keywords and integrate SEO best practices into test variants and permanent content updates. **Qualifications/experience:** + Fit with Pearson culture. + A qualification that relates to Marketing, Communications or Data science. + **Proven on-the-job experience in content creation and digital marketing.** + Hands-on experience in CRO, experimentation, or digital performance marketing. + Solid understanding of CRO principles, testing methodologies, and behavioral analytics. + Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize, LaunchDarkly) and web analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Google Tag Manager, BigQuery, Looker Studio). + Comfort with basic front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS) to support test creation or collaborate effectively with developers. + Familiarity with a customer engagement tools like Braze also. + **Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.** With the ability to present technical results and actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders. + Availability to attend Pearson's office in São Paulo (Barra Funda) 1 to 2 times per week. **Desirable Additional Skills:** + Familiarity with user data privacy regulations as they relate to testing and personalization. + Experience working in an eCommerce or digital education environment. **Check out our benefits:** + Home Office + Home Office Allowance + Medical Assistance + Dental Assistance + Employee Well-being Support + Life Insurance + Meal Voucher + Pharmacy Discount Program + Discount on Our Language School Franchises + Discount on Language Learning Books + Pearson University + Childcare Assistance + Birthday Off + AIP (Annual Incentive Plan) + Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave – 6 months for mothers and 1 month for fathers. 1132237 **Job:** Digital Marketing **Job Family:** MARKETING **Organization:** English Language Learning **Schedule:** FULL\_TIME **Req ID:** 17842
