Critical Engineering Manager 12 Month FTC

We are looking for a Critical Engineering Manager for our JLL Work Dynamics business line.

About The Role

Responsible to ensure that all required Critical system maintenance and operational checks are carried out, any reported defects are rectified in a timely manner with liaison with all stakeholders to ensure 100% uptime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Liaison and management of sub contractors for critical systems ensure access arranged CR in place and ATW/PTW submitted and approved with liaison of Engineering Operations ManagerLiaison with data centre management (Floor management South) team for all works within the data centres including works under JLL and 3rd party works by others.Preparation and submission of all critical systems change management requests for 8CS to ensure approvals received in good time and paper work correct with all parties aware of works.Ensure all stakeholders within 8CS are included in critical works schedule to ensure communications passed to all parties specifically liaison with FM, Engineering Ops and sub contractors.Review service reports for critical systems ensure PMC raised and works completed within SLA.Liaison and management of subcontractors to ensure completion of all scheduled maintenance in accordance with issued PPM instructionsEnsure that plant checks are completed by physical monitoring from shift plus BMS.

Ensuring AP document registers maintained and all AP training up to date.AE Audits annually as minimumProject manage Integrated System Tests

Key Performance Measures

Systems and equipment for the following systemsData Centre Level 8 & SER management all floorsAll CRAC unit operation across all floors.PDU’s & RPP’sStatic SwitchesFire suppression systems & HSSD/VESDA systemsFire alarm systemsLeak detection systems to critical areas.UPS systems, LV & HV systems, Generators, Lift Motor Rooms (LMR)CRAC units in all roomsFire suppression systems & HSSD systemsLeak detection systems to critical areas.

CHW systems.

General oversight of performance and operation of central plantEnsure that Cooling towers are fully functional both mechanically & electricallyReview Vibration monitoring system and ensure system operating satisfactorily.

Energy Management

Maintain energy records and issue of energy consumption information.Ensure Load and Capacity readings are recorded via Corrigo each monthEnsure daily meter readings are recorded and logged to confirm automatic systems.

Operational

Oversight of BMS resident engineer and systemsOversight of Delmatic lighting systemOversight of all critical systems in the BCR to ensure operational and maintain 100% uptime

SKILLS

Served a recognised apprenticeship with electrical biasedHigh Voltage/Low Voltage complex systems Authorised PersonWorking to a Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regime.NEBOSH/IOSH or other recognised H+S trainingL8 Water Hygiene experience requiredAble to work under pressure IT literate with Microsoft Office Able to work under own initiative3+ Years working in a similar role (Ideally in a Critical Facility managing teams of multi-skilled engineers and 3rd party contractors)
