Crisis Management Lead
Job Purpose
Lead Crisis Management asset-based supports in the implementation of the Company’s overall crisis management objectives and program including providing advisory support to relevant stakeholders to address threats, hazards, planned events, and other emergencies. Manage the coordination and adaptation of crisis management strategies in line with emerging regulations and changing requirements, overseeing continued readiness of all crisis management-based response infrastructure to ensure the resilience of Company assets.
Job Context
•Provides coordination of crisis management strategies, policies and procedures which are following emerging regulations, changing requirements and extended scope within onshore and offshore assets.
• Provides guidance to team members in high pressure environment and delivers required incident management coaching and guidance to asset[1]based leadership.
• Provides analytical, interpretative, and constructive thinking, with a significant degree of evaluative/professional judgment.
• Needs to work independently on common and newly identified crisis management issues, make complex decisions using sound expertise and provide defined and well-considered solutions.
• Requires adapting quickly to business requirements and provide effective fit-for-purpose solutions in a timely manner.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, disaster management, engineering, business administration, or safety & risk management.
• Associate Emergency Managers (AEM) Designation.
• Incident Command System Level 100-200-300.
• Incident Command System Train-The-Trainer (TOT) Instructional Certification for ICS 100 & 200.
• Petroleum Industry Training Organisation (OPITO) Major Emergency Management Initial Response Training (MEMIR).
Knowledge
• 8 years of experience in the field of Emergency Response/Crisis Management with at least 3 years coming from a supervisory experience within large oil and gas organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in tactical and strategic leadership roles within varying types of crisis incidents.
• Wide-ranging knowledge of crisis/incident command management and control systems including organizational crisis management competency delivery mechanisms.
