We are looking for an Associate Broker to join our growing Crisis Management team, with focus on Special Crime (kidnap for ransom) insurance. Brokers serve as an integral interface between WTW clients and prospects and various insurance carriers in the marketplace. They advise Producers and other colleagues on the design of risk management programs for clients; present submissions to carriers, negotiate to secure coverage that meets client needs, oversee preparation of client proposals, and maintain strong relationships with key carriers. In addition to assisting with placement activities, responsibilities will include coordinating deadlines for internal /external colleagues and clients and recording and maintaining all placement data on our appropriate, electronic placement systems.

The Role
The Associate Broker will advise Producers and Client Advocates on the design of risk management programs for clients, preparing and submitting business to our carrier partners, following up for quotes, coordinating renewal processes and policy documentation, requesting billing activities, and servicing accounts during the policy period. This role will also include recording and maintaining all placement data on our appropriate, electronic placement systems as well as supporting marketing and sales activities. It is expected that in time the Associate Broker will act as a Special Crime thought leader to contribute to the team’s marketing and sales activities, including business travel as needed
Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks in order to support the placement of client risks into the market. Provide coverage and program design advice and expertise to client; perform needs and gap analysis to make recommendations regarding program improvements. Develop client and prospect presentations to secure new, and build on existing, relationships. Research market solutions to learn how to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients. Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery. Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by side comparisons. Review program binders for accuracy against quotes and complete file reviews. Execute straightforward new business placement, renewals and simple alterations of existing cover, under supervision. Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to. Build, manage and report on an active pipeline using Client Relationship Management (CRM) technology. Ideate and develop marketing materials, including thought leadership content and sales campaigns, in association with Marketing teams. Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by WTW Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalize on account penetration and cross selling opportunities Build strong partnerships with a broad range of organizations and stakeholders in the market in order to secure optimum terms and conditions for clients.The Requirements
