Job DescriptionAs a Criminal Law Specialist (m/f/diverse), you will play a key role in strengthening our global compliance framework, ensuring integrity, trust, and legal certainty across all business areas worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Criminal Law & Compliance Expertise
Act as the central expert for all criminal law–related matters and advise the business on appropriate responsesContinuously develop and improve the global Compliance Management System with a focus on criminal lawMonitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical compliance improvementsDrive global compliance initiatives, including policies, training, communication, and integrity cultureSupport continuous compliance risk analysis and early detection mechanisms in close cooperation with relevant functionsBuild and maintain a strong global compliance network and collaborate closely with the Compliance Central TeamCompliance Case Management
Design and operate an effective, independent, and confidential compliance case management systemAct as the key driver in assessing, prioritizing, and assigning incoming reports to the appropriate investigatorsOversee ongoing investigations and evaluate outcomes and lessons learnedStrengthen awareness and trust in the global whistleblowing system through training and communicationPrepare case statistics, trend analyses, and management reportingDefine and enforce appropriate measures in case of confirmed violationsFunctionally lead the Compliance Case Management team and coordinate key stakeholders worldwideQualificationsFully qualified lawyer or legal counsel with relevant professional experienceSolid knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standardsConfident user of MS Office; advanced Excel and Power BI skills are a plusBusiness‑fluent German and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantageIndependent working styleStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbalHigh ethical standards, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibilityStrong intercultural competence combined with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindsetApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
