**Job Title: Crew Lead - Overhead Doors ($25-$30hr)** **Job Description** As a Crew Lead, you will lead a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a crew lead in construction, welding/fabrication, or overhead doors. Safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship are essential in this role. **Responsibilities** + Lead and coordinate a team of technicians to complete projects efficiently and safely. + Perform stick welding to fabricate and repair door and dock leveler components. + Install, maintain, and repair sectional, rolling steel, and high-speed doors in commercial and industrial settings. + Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of overhead door systems and dock levelers. + Utilize forklifts and scissor lifts for elevated access and work. + Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with doors, dock levelers, and associated equipment. + Maintain accurate records of service and repair activities. + Promote a culture of safety within the team and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. + Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of service procedures and recommendations. + Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a crew lead in construction or 3+ years as a welding supervisor. + Proficiency in stick welding for fabrication and repair work. + Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead doors, including sectional, rolling steel, and high-speed doors. + Skilled operation of forklifts and scissor lifts. + Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities. + Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A team-oriented attitude with exceptional communication skills. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. + CDL is a plus but not required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and advancement in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
