Credit Trading & Syndicate - Global Syndicate Assistant - Analyst

As an Analyst within the Global Credit Trading & Syndicate team, you will unlock your potential by engaging with Debt Capital Markets to deliver the best to Issuer Clients. You will work closely with Sales teams and Traders, reconciling live books, managing hedging of risk, assisting in booking trade and fee tickets, monitoring fails, cross-checking P&L, and managing prospectus delivery processes. You will ensure compliance with the latest regulations and maintain Syndicate deal files, providing a high-profile and dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibilities: 

Reconciling live books across the Syndicate teams during the bookbuild.Managing all hedging of risk: both on the run and off the run hedges.Assisting in the booking of all trade tickets in Athena.Assisting in the booking of all fee tickets in PTP.Helping to monitor all fails.Cross checking all P&L.Helping in the management of prospectus delivery process for all new issues syndicated by the desk.Assisting in the management and maintenance of all Syndicate deal files including all Legal and Regulations record-keeping.Supporting deal admin (which can differ deal by deal).Booking of US back to back tickets.Ensuring that you are up to date on the most recent regulation relating to new issues such as Stabilisation and Canadian Wrappers and ensure the desk is compliant.
 

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities: 

Experience in the reconciliation process including both tie outs and hedgingKnowledge of Primary One is preferredKnowledge of DPD Dashboard and AthenaKnowledge of Credit Hybrids PTP and Bloomberg

 

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities: 

Experience in dealing with regulations particularly around new issues

 

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
