Credit Solutions Market Development - Analyst
**About the Role:** **Grade Level (for internal use):** 10 **The** **Role:** Product Manager on the RX/Americas Market Development Team **The Team:** Our Credit Solutions (CS) team is a distinct business line within the Credit & Risk Solutions business unit that is fully dedicated to the commercial distribution of the ratings intellectual property of our Ratings division. Our combined product teams serve as a vehicle to develop solutions that integrate intellectual property across both the Ratings and Market Intelligence divisions. We bring together market-leading credit ratings data along with comprehensive analytics, company research and related data. **The Impact:** You are a key member of the global product management team developing and managing the flagship commercial desktop and feed offerings, RatingsXpress and RatingsDirect respectively, which includes S&P’s proprietary credit ratings, research, risk indicators, financial data, and tools/analytics. You will directly participate in tactics related to the expansion and retention of the Credit Solutions book of business, both globally for RatingsXpress and regionally in the Americas for Credit Solutions as a whole. You will work closely with business partners to execute client engagement, renewal and lead-generation campaigns. **What’s in it for you:** As a member of the RatingsXpress/Americas product management team, you will be contributing to the success of Credit Risk Solutions’ premier desktop and feed subscription products. + You will work closely with our management, marketing, education, commercial, prospecting, client support, product specialist and product development functions. + You will contribute to analyzing customer data, persona insight and book of business trends to develop strategies to support delivery of a new product. + Gain an In-depth understanding of RatingsXpress® and RatingsDirect® personas, and the value of S&P Global Ratings’ IP. + You will contribute towards efforts to identify target personas and workflows for new enhancements in both feeds and desktop products **Responsibilities:** + Perform detailed analysis of financial performance from different viewpoints, including segment, region, country and historical perspectives, to monitor and report performance as well as identify key KPIs to focus on + Collate, synthesize and interpret trends via user feedback, commercial win/loss pipeline data to identify product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and deliver new campaign and outreach ideas + Produce and manage targets and campaign lists with tools such as Microsoft SQL, Excel and SmartSheet + Use database tools to run coverage checks, produce data analysis for research purposes, and contribute to writing case studies + Work with stakeholders, such as the Education and Marketing teams, to prepare relevant materials to complement commercial campaigns + Help to conduct market research to find prospective targets who are not currently clients (white space analysis) + Participate in outreach campaigns of various natures. Outreach campaigns can vary in terms of objectives, from gathering feedback on the product for the product development team to building detailed descriptions of workflows to deliver high quality marketing campaigns + Support communications to deliver insight and updates to internal teams for RatingsDirect® and RatingsXpress® e.g. hub posts, deals of the month; popular research insights, etc. + Support commercial stakeholders in pricing new opportunities and renewals + Utilize the RatingsDirect® content and screener tools to develop useful solutions for clients + Participate in the creation of product and marketing collateral, including user guides, release notes, client newsletter, or as assigned + Maintain a library of user profiles, personas and workflows **What We’re Looking For:** We are looking for a member of the product management core team to support revenue-generation strategies and monitor outcomes of commercial and marketing campaigns. **Basic Qualifications / Skill Set:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (in Finance preferred, not required). + Advanced knowledge of MS Excel + Advanced knowledge of SQL, and/or other database querying tools, as well as experience using APIs (Snowflake experience a bonus) + Effective presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. + Experience developing and maintaining BI dashboards + Experience with Tableau would be advantageous **Preferred Qualifications / Skill Set:** + Knowledge of credit fundamentals and an understanding of the Credit Rating Agency business model and content would be helpful + Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. + Familiarity with Salesforce is desirable + Comfortable working in a matrixed environment, ability to influence outcomes in parallel teams **About S&P Global Market Intelligence** At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
