We are looking for Credit Research Analysis, Lead who is responsible for
- Expand pipeline of corporate bond investment opportunities
- Develop relationships with advisers and issuers
- Keep abreast of capital market conditions
- Proactive monitoring of credit/industry/regulatory risks of issuers covered
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Fixed Income Portfolio Manager/Head of Investment to conduct thorough fundamental analysis to support the achievement of investment targets and objectives while prudently manage the individual credit:
Source corporate bond investment ideas, whether that be through direct liaising with corporate issuers or through investment banksBuild credit models based on Moody’s methodologyBe able to build/project cash flow model for the companiesInteract with regional head office to get investment approval- Monitor existing government/corporate bond portfolio:
Recommend, monitor, and pro-actively adjust the credit limits according to changes in market and credit issuer dynamic as well prudently follow regulatory and internal credit standard and policy- Dealer role: to maintain active dialogue with our counterparties and government bond market to keep abreast of market movements and pricing
- Participate in regular regional credit update meeting organized by Group Credit
- Maintain close contacts with outside analysts for updated economic & capital market information
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (a master’s degree is preferred) in economics, finance or accounting
- At least 4 years relevant work experience as an analyst in fund managers, insurance or securities companies
- In depth coverage of 2-3 sectors in Vietnam market macro - economic environment
- Good analytical skill and proficiency in balance sheet knowledge and financial modelling
- Understanding of AIA Business and Strategy
- CFA or CFA candidates with strong interest to be a CFA holder
- Strong verbal and written skills in Vietnamese and English
- Be a good team player with ability to maintain a positive attitude while investment recommendations are reviewed and challenged by other Research Team members or Portfolio Managers
