General Summary
Represents the System in a professional manner, using good customer service practices in the performance of the following duties: Is responsible for the and maintenance of patient accounts. Performs a variety of functions including, but not limited to, account follow-up, answering inquiries, resolving problems, updating patient information and insurance, and working with patients to ensure timely and accurate application of payments and refund processing.

Types and/or compiles correspondence and reports, photocopies information, files information, answers the telephone, takes messages and directs calls. Prepares and maintains records of patient charges. Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.Qualifications
