**About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Portfolio Consultant as part of Securities Based Lending Credit Management part of Wealth and Investment Management. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com (https://www.wellsfargojobs.com/career-areas/) .
**In this role, you will:**
+ Working from first line of defense to provide product support for the Securities Based Lending business.
+ Participate in consulting services and identify opportunity for providing credit and portfolio expertise
+ Identify and assess credit performance, as well as potential and emerging risks, and partnering on credit and portfolio strategies within the scope of responsibilities
+ Review and analyze credit performance or credit portfolio that require research, evaluation, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
+ Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in credit consulting services
+ Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers
+ Work with business partners, provide analytic solutions, and develop strategies to support or negate change recommendations
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors college degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
+ Experience supporting and maintaining wealth credit portfolio management accounts
+ Ability to provide administrative support, including responding to prospect/customer inquiries and requests for information
+ Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data
+ Solid critical thinking skills
+ Experience handling complex transactions on multiple systems (BETA)
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Tableau experience
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strong data entry and attention to detail skills
+ Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills, including time and priority management
+ Ability to develop and manage business relationships
+ Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong working relationships across business channels and at all levels of management.
+ Solutions-oriented and able to operate within a diverse, fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
+ Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
+ Strong Customer Service Skills
