JOB SUMMARY
Position location is open to office locations within Truist's footprint.
Senior consultant to all lines of business (LOBs) providing solutions that support the development of complex products and services which complement a sound and functional platform for processing Truist's Credit Operations applications.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Serve as line of business subject matter expert for Credit Operations and other banking and financial support systems.
2. Perform comprehensive functional analysis and requirements definition for our technical partners to support the development and delivery of solutions.
3. Formulate new and innovative strategic solutions to complex and challenging application and product designs. This may also include completing process mapping, workflow analyses and process re-engineering.
4. Provide oversight for system-related tasks, including testing, and work to reconcile moderate to complex or multiple systems, programs or process issues, escalate issues as appropriate.
5. Lead and directly provide application support, which includes problem research, analysis, resolution, and on-call support.
6. Advocate changes to Credit Operations Systems that support the management directives of Credit Operations.
7. Maintain and communicate knowledge of industry trends and technology. Develop and maintain a professional relationship with vendors supporting assigned systems.
8. Communicate to Credit Operations leadership the status of project efforts and overall application stability, anticipating and identifying potential issues and areas of risk and ways to remediate. Serve as first line of defense to ensure all risk management practices are adhered to for Credit Operations systems.
9. Maintain sound knowledge of, and strict adherence to corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines, including documentation as required.
10. Implement business tasks independently and lead activities of others on the team if needed.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor's degree in computer/business-related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Strong knowledge of banking systems
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate with a wide range of management and staff levels
4. Strong knowledge of systems development methodology
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects, including the management of resources and timelines to meet required goals and objectives
6. Strong technical and financial business knowledge with the ability to define and express complex technical/financial concepts in terms compatible with applicable business/technical unit
7. Excellent team player dedicated to the principles of collaborative solutions
8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. 8+ years experience in systems support and development, with a strong track record of managing projects in a banking or financial services environment
2. Solid understanding of project management fundamentals, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate software testing efforts, ensuring quality and reliability across platforms
4. Proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, or similar platforms
5. Proven experience in software product ownership, including lifecycle management, feature prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration
