We are pleased to announce a new apprenticeship, based in the Credit Control Department of our business at St Neots. This will give you the chance to gain experience and build up knowledge whilst taking responsibility for departmental tasks within all areas of Credit Control.

Job DescriptionDuring the course of the apprenticeship you will cover the full range of activities undertaken by the Credit Control Department in our small team in St Neots. This will include but it not limited to:
monitoring of due debts; account clarification with customers including old items; preparation and participation in “receivables review meetings”; agreement of and monitoring of payment plansforwarding customer remittances and advice on payment allocations to GSA/ROM to ensure timely allocation of incoming payments; investigate unallocated amounts and deductions; arranging customer refunds as appropriateRegular dunning of receivables (in writing and verbal) – also prior to due date; ensuing adherence to payment terms; initiate / implement measures in case of unsuccessful dunningRegular processing of blocked sales documents; monitoring and adjustment of credit limits; evaluation of default riskComplete and prompt registration and processing of dispute items in cooperation with sales & logisticsCreation and maintenance of customer master dataBeing aware of processes / procedures / authorization guidelines which apply to their tasks and duties.Qualificationsqualified to GSCE (minimum Grade 4 in Maths and English) or A level standardexcellent spoken and written standard of Englishexcellent communication skills with the ability to work in a sometimes pressurised environmentexcellent MS Office skillsflexible approach to workexcellent prioritisation skillskeen to learn and able to drive own learning and developmentable to deal with sometimes challenging behaviourAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive package including;
