Research credit history, establish credit lines and payment terms for new clients/suppliers, and manage ongoing client accounts.Handle follow-up, resolve issues, and escalate overdue accounts.Conduct age analysis and prepare comprehensive reports on receivables.Serve as the primary reviewer of credit balances across Asia and maintain/update credit control manuals and audit controls.Closely with Asia Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Financial Controller, and Country Finance Managers.Support initiatives to improve working capital, manage SAF reporting for debt accounts, and assist with bad debt management and write-off reporting.Ensure accurate recording of collections activity and customer data, and process/apply accounts receivable payments.Organize weekly debtor meetings with various teams and monitor customer credit limits before hires.Prepare, propose, justify, and book monthly provisions for bad and doubtful debts.Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable reports (e.g., aging, bad debt provision, risk, DSO) and provide balance sheet backups for trade debtors, accrued revenue, and deferred revenue.You’ll have the following skills and experience:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on credit control. Excellent overall communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Able to thrive in a highly dynamic work environment. High level of credibility and capability in handling sensitive information. Proactive in communicating with and engaging stakeholders. Fluent command of the English language, both spoken and written. Effective planning, organizational, and time management skills. Quality-oriented with strong attention to detail and capable of meeting deadlines.Find out more and apply now.
