Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to oversee their credit control function. This head office-based role, working five days per week, is critical in driving cash collection, minimising bad debt, and supporting a culture of excellence within the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of the credit control team, ensuring objectives are met, and performance is continuously improved. They will monitor KPIs, conduct regular one-to-one reviews, and provide coaching and development to team members. They will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with processes, addressing disputes, and implementing best practices in collaboration with the Credit Control Manager.
This role will also involve building strong relationships with customers, field managers, and internal teams to ensure effective credit management. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of credit control procedures and provide cover for team members when required.
