Credit Collections Manager

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in credit and collections

Experience with b2b outreach and account resolution

Experience with chargebacks, short-pays, and unapplied cash

Experience with mid-large size ERP systems

Job Description:

Leading manufacturer of fitness strength equipment, has an opening for a Credit/Collections Manager. The Credit/Collections Manager will oversee the credit granting process and ensure that there is a consistent application of company credit policy. They will also oversee the collection efforts and delinquency controls of the company, ensuring money owed is billed and received correctly and promptly in accordance with established credit terms.

Credit Duties/Responsibilities:

•\tIdentifies and tracks accounts that have been deemed delinquent.

•\tMonitors invoices and tracks payments.

•\tContacts clients to obtain payments when necessary.

•\tGenerates reports as requested from management.

•\tProcesses credit applications for management approval.

•\tPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Collection Duties/Responsibilities:

•\tResearches, develops, and facilitates collection procedures according to company polices.

•\tEnsures proper preparation and delivery of letters, notices, and other communications regarding delinquent accounts.

•\tCommunicates the status of delinquent accounts to management.

•\tReviews accounts and recommends for charge-off as appropriate; supervises approved accounts charge-off procedure and reports it to credit reporting agencies.

•\tEnsures the security and privacy of customer information and files.

•\tPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

•\tTrack all incoming deposits and verify all have been entered

•\tProcess credit applications in a timely manner

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Poway, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr.
