We are seeking a diligent Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities
+ Identify and monitor accounts for past due invoices.
+ Communicate effectively with customers regarding their account status.
+ Follow up with accounts regularly to ensure payment issues are addressed.
+ Decide when to hold accounts or orders that are severely past due.
+ Release orders for accounts exceeding their current credit limit.
+ Collaborate with sales representatives and account support to resolve invoice disputes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ 6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional or corporate setting.
+ Quick learner with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
+ Ability to work independently and handle pressure from sales teams.
+ Growth potential within the organization with opportunities for internal promotion.
Work Environment
+ You will be part of an Accounts Receivable team consisting of 32 members, including cash application specialists, collectors, and credit managers.
+ Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
+ Initially, this position requires working in the office five days a week, but after 2-3 months, there is potential for a hybrid schedule allowing 1-3 remote workdays. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
