Job Title: Credit and Collections SpecialistResponsibilities
+ Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers through credit checks, financial analysis, and trade references.
+ Set and monitor credit limits in accordance with company policies.
+ Proactively manage collections activities to ensure timely payment of invoices.
+ Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding past due accounts.
+ Resolve billing disputes and collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure accurate invoicing.
+ Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collection efforts in ERP and CRM systems.
+ Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management on collection status and risk exposure.
+ Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-off when necessary.
+ Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Experience in collection calls and accounts receivable.
+ Competence in billing collections.
+ Familiarity with Navision and/or other ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in managing accounts receivable and credit and collections.
+ Ability to prepare and analyze aging reports.
+ Technical skills with ERP systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
