The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a Credit and Collections Analyst to join our team in Vaughan, Ontario. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our top-line growth, profitability, and free cash flow, while minimizing bad debt risk and ensuring compliance with company payment terms.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Review customer accounts in accordance with credit policy. Proactively contact delinquent customers via phone and email to secure payments or commitments. Develop and maintain a structured collection follow-up process. Communicate with customers to resolve credit and collections issues. Investigate and resolve customer deductions and chargebacks; determine credit eligibility. Manage and resolve disputes through consistent follow-up until resolution. Collaborate with sales and credit teams to address credit limit concerns with minimal customer disruption. Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly. Release customer orders daily. Perform account reconciliations and assist with cash application as needed. Escalate high-risk or problematic accounts to the Credit Manager. Support additional credit-related tasks as required.

 

Qualifications

 

College or university degree. CCP designation or enrollment in the CCP program is required 3–5 years of relevant experience in credit and collections. Strong understanding of receivables management principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with JD Edwards is an asset. Bilingual in French is an asset but not required.
