Job Title: Contract Credit Analyst Location: Toronto, ON Contract Duration: 6 months About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit evaluation, particularly within the banking or financial services sector. Key Responsibilities: + Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses. + Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for internal stakeholders. + Monitor existing credit accounts and identify potential risks or deterioration in credit quality. + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures. + Support the onboarding and periodic review processes for clients, including documentation and due diligence. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related role. + Strong understanding of financial statements, credit scoring models, and risk metrics. + Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with credit systems is a plus. + Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Preferred Experience: + Exposure to EDD/KYC processes. + Familiarity with Canadian banking regulations and credit frameworks. + Experience working with clients in Ontario or across Canadian markets.
