As our Credit Advisor you’ll be the go-to expert on all credit and risk based products with emphasis and support to Private Banking relationship managers and business heads. You’ll be responsible for identifying, structuring, negotiating, and underwriting new credit opportunities. Every day, you’ll build trust with clients and your team in these interactions by learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions. To thrive in this job, you need experience in risk and portfolio management with credit products. You should also be familiar with a credit analysis, relationship building and Microsoft Office

As our Credit Advisor you will:

Act as focal point with Relationship Managers and Business Heads

Identify, structure, negotiate and underwrite new credit opportunities

Build trust with clients and the team by learning new concepts and research information in real-time to provide creative solutions

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $100,000.00 and $170,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

Candidate should have experience in underwriting from start to finish credit memos for some of the following credit products:Lending secured by: Marketable securities, Single stock, Unsecured, Commercial Real Estate, Residential mortgages, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Capital Call (PECC/Subscription facilities), Art, Financial Sponsors (PE LP interest, PE co-investment and management fee lines), unlisted shares (privately held stock), Life Insurance Premium Finance (LIPF), Music rights lending, CAT B FX and Derivatives lending, Aircraft and Yacht lending

Underwriting includes:Spread personal financial statements, Cash flow analysis, Collateral analysis

Create Credit memo that discusses the following: Transaction summary, Structure of loan, Covenants, Collateral, Financials spreads, Risk and mitigants, Strength and weakness, Documentation, Recommendation

Candidate should have client facing experience and dealing with Private Bank High Net Worth Clients
