Description We are looking for an experienced Credit & Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and oversee key financial operations in Lisle, Illinois. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient handling of collections, credit reviews, and cash applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a balance between mitigating financial risk and supporting commercial growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Direct and oversee all accounts receivable functions, including collections, billing, and cash applications.
• Conduct thorough credit reviews to assess and manage financial risks effectively.
• Lead and inspire a team, fostering engagement and maintaining high morale.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize accounts receivable processes and aging report management.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to balance credit risk with business opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze AR metrics to ensure compliance with company policies and financial objectives.
• Resolve escalated accounts receivable issues promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate reporting and insights to senior management regarding AR performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate application of cash receipts to accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to support timely payment resolutions. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts receivable management, including B2C and B2B environments.
• Proven expertise in collections, cash application, and credit review processes.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Ability to balance financial risk management with commercial growth opportunities.
• Proficient in managing aging reports and billing functions.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership and client interactions.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable systems and tools.
