Description We are looking for a dedicated Credentialing Specialist to join our team in Vista, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with credentialing standards by managing documentation and maintaining accurate records. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and organize credentialing documentation from both new and existing clinicians or therapists, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
• Oversee credentialing and privileging processes to ensure they align with applicable regulations, policies, and standards.
• Maintain and update credentialing databases, providing accurate reports and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Develop, analyze, and distribute various reports and surveys on a weekly, monthly, annual, or ad hoc basis.
• Draft official communications, including memorandums, forms, policies, and correspondence.
• Assist with general clerical duties, such as answering multi-line phone systems and coordinating schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
• Upload and manage documents in credentialing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support credentialing operations. Requirements • Proven experience in credentialing processes, including managing databases and documentation.
• Familiarity with credentialing standards and regulations within the healthcare industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in coordinating schedules and managing internal communications effectively.
• Experience with answering multi-line phone systems and performing clerical duties.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create and analyze reports, surveys, and other documentation as needed.
