🔧 Your Role:
As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you’ll balance leadership responsibilities with clinical duties. You’ll serve as the go-to resource for our technician and assistant team, ensuring smooth daily operations, quality patient care, and a positive clinic culture.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
Support, mentor and lead our technician and assistant team
Cultivating a healthy, communicative, and collaborative team culture
Providing hands-on patient care and assisting in surgeries and procedures
Coordinating schedules and workflow with empathy and efficiency
Facilitating training, onboarding and continuing education opportunities
Helping maintain a safe, positive, and respectful work environment
Maintain high standards of patient care across all species
Support and promote all VCA initiatives
Support veterinarians in appointments, surgeries, diagnostics, and exotic handling
Help manage inventory and maintain safety protocols
✅ What You Bring:
LVT/CVT/RVT license required
3+ years of veterinary technician experience
Have prior leadership experience—or a clear desire and ability to grow into a leadership role
A deep appreciation for teamwork and mentorship
Are confident in your clinical skills and enjoy teaching others
Communicate clearly, calmly, and respectfully
Take pride in your work and value a supportive, team-based culture
Comfort with (or interest in learning) exotic animal handling
A sense of humor and a whole lot of compassion
