The Lifestyle Show Producer is responsible for producing live interview segments and taped sponsored segments in a fun, morning style format directed at female viewers and social media users.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Plans and produces live daily lifestyle show that best aligns with the show’s target audienceWrites taped and on camera segmentsBooks guests, maintains show rolodex and calendarCommunicates with sales team and clients regarding sponsored contentUploads taped segments to websiteReviews daily social media product Maintaining the show’s social media account and assisting with all online content as directedEvaluate entertainment value of stories and engagement for broadcast, website, and social mediaWork with production team on recording schedules and live show managementAttend daily content meetings, provide timely feedback, and make solid decisionsHands-on oversight of daily one-hour show Monday thru FridayBuild relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributorsBuilds show graphics and edits video as neededInteracts with viewers and users on social media sitesPerforms other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

Experience producing lifestyle shows or local newsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenInformed about local events, entertainment, food, fashion, music, etc.Write scripts quickly, accurately, and conversationallyAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyGenerate and coordinate local lifestyle stories and sponsored contentOperate producing and editing softwareCoach talent and provide daily feedback to production team
