MarketingAs a Creative Lead within BMO Design, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and executing creative solutions that elevate the BMO brand across internal and external channels. In this dynamic role, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams on a variety of production design initiatives and strategic creative work to support BMO's business goals and our commitment to customer-centricity, inclusion, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership
Own the creative vision for integrated campaigns, sponsorship programs, advertising initiatives, special events, social programs, and email and web initiatives Translate strategic briefs into compelling concepts across digital, video, print, and experiential formats. Ensure creative outputs align with BMO’s brand standards and tone of voice.Team Collaboration
Works with internal and external partners to produce high-quality, timely and cost-efficient marketing communications solutions.Lead and mentor designers, writers, and producers within BMO Design Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing creative culture. Partner with UX, marketing, brand, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact.Project Execution
Oversee the development of creative assets from ideation through production. Provide hands-on direction during concept development, reviews, and final delivery. Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met across all deliverables.Strategic Thinking
Contribute to creative strategy and campaign planning with insights and storytelling expertise. Advocate for design thinking and human-centred design across projects. Identify opportunities to evolve creative approaches and improve process efficiency.Brand Stewardship
Champion BMO’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all touch points. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and cultural shifts to inform creative direction.Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in creative roles including 2+ years of in a creative leadership role, ideally within an internal agency or financial services. Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and creative excellence across media. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other design and collaboration tools. Experience and knowledge in the development, design and production of social media, digital media, web, animation, video, print, out-of-home, events, and emailExceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in agile or hybrid environmentsDeep understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, and regulatory considerations. $69,000.00 - $129,000.00Pay Type:
SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
