Creative Editorial Specialist **Employment Type:** Full Time **Date Posted:** 8/11/2025 **Location:** East Hanover, NJ **Pay Range:** 155000.00 - 255000.00 USD per Year **Job Number:** JO-2508-2701 **Primary Function** The Creative Editorial Specialist will be responsible for strategizing and executing innovative brand storytelling excellence, managing content marketing initiatives for US innovative medicine brands. This position will evaluate and establish breakthrough creative approaches while leading strategic partnerships with the Content Strategy team and reports directly to the Executive Director, Editorial Planning Lead. The role will manage a select group of priority brands and design scalable best-in-class guidelines for video and editorial storytelling across the brand portfolio and agency network. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Lead development of captivating, integrated marketing concepts that align with the company’s purpose, vision, and objectives + Conceptualize compelling patient and HCP storytelling campaigns in partnership with agencies + Direct creative reviews for key content deliverables, bringing expertise to elevate campaign quality + Design specific content best practice guides and establish workflows that advance creative excellence + Manage comprehensive creative oversight across story arcs, scripts, videos, infographics, data visualizations and media custom content partnerships + Partner with external agencies and internal brand teams to elevate content quality and creative output + Develop compelling storytelling across multiple mediums that resonate with HCP, DTC, and caregiver audiences + Assess and optimize creative concepts through independent decision-making, ensuring technical precision and brand alignment + Consult on director and photographer choices while supervising on-set creative execution and providing strategic guidance + Initiate and manage technical expertise for patient videos, scripts, photography, websites, and co-created content + Collaborate on writing creative briefs and reviewing agency deliverables + Support cross-functional marketing teams to deliver high-impact content programs + Research and analyze best-in-class creative practices across the industry + Develop educational content for Lunch ‘n Learns, Office Hours and other strategic learning opportunities + Forecast and advance marketing strategy capabilities for internal teams and agency partners + Audit and establish knowledge-sharing initiatives that advance creative excellence organization-wide + Work across the creative team by fostering a positive work environment, and promoting cross-functional collaboration + Travel for production as needed + Other duties as assigned **Skills & Qualifications** + Expert strategic thinking with ability to establish creative vision and make independent high-level decisions + Strategic leadership capabilities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with the ability to supervise multiple stakeholder relationships + Expert proficiency in all aspects of video production, including leading shoots, managing crew and post-production teams + Advanced strategic understanding of branding and storytelling principles with ability to establish creative standards + Exceptional structured communication skills with ability to train teams and translate complex technical concepts across departments + Ability to audit creative work and establish quality benchmarks + Proven success leading integrated campaigns across multiple platforms that achieved engagement KPIs and business objectives **Education & Experience** + 12+ years of experience in creative roles within agency or brand studio environments + Strong portfolio showcasing video, digital experiences, social campaigns, and shortform documentary-style content + Experience in and passion for wellness, health, and lifestyle sectors + Bachelor’s degree in film/television, Creative Writing, Production, Journalism, or related field required + Experience in the Healthcare/Pharma industry via agency or creative services **To Apply** Use the link at the bottom of this page to apply.
