Job Overview

We are seeking a Creative AI Generalist to join our Design team at Mercer. You will be joining us in building Oliver Wyman’s new in-house creative hub in Lisbon.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Role Overview

We're building a design research team that sits alongside traditional creative teams, focused on uncovering scalable and tech-driven solutions for creative challenges. You'll specialize in AI-driven content creation, working with teams organization-wide to drive excellence in AI generated content while developing systematic approaches to AI production that can be adopted across projects.

You have

Solid experience in creative production and/or AI-driven content creation roles

A keen eye for content quality and understanding of what production-ready assets look like

Strong visual judgment and the ability to bridge creative vision with AI execution

Translating brand guidelines and how to maintain consistency across AI-generated content.

You need to

Expert proficiency in AI content tools is a must, (the larger your toolbox is, the better)

Master prompt engineering techniques for consistent, high-quality results

Be proficient in content production pipeline and quality control processes is a must

Background in graphic design, video editing, or related creative disciplines

Be willing to continuously experiment with emerging AI tools and techniques

You will

Execute AI Content Production

Create high-quality content using advanced tools that meet brand standards

Develop prompt engineering workflows

Ensure AI-generated assets align with creative vision and campaign objectives

Refine content through iterative processes to achieve hyper-realistic quality

Develop Production Systems

Build repeatable workflows for AI-driven content creation across project types

Document best practices and create guidance for creative teams adopting AI workflows

Develop quality benchmarks and assessment frameworks for AI-generated content

Research Through Production

Test emerging AI tools through real project applications

Experiment with novel approaches to AI content creation and refinement

Share learnings and methodologies across the organization

Contribute to systematic approaches that benefit multiple creative teams

What makes you stand out?

This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset that combines deep AI content expertise with systematic production thinking. Success requires balancing specialist knowledge in AI content production with the agility to support diverse creative teams, communicate AI capabilities clearly to non-technical collaborators, and experiment with unproven techniques.

Most importantly, you must be comfortable pioneering new methods while working autonomously across multiple projects where quality consistency is essential.
