ResponsibilitiesAssemble crates to ship large products, such as dump trucks.Receive parts delivered by forklift and build a pallet around them.Construct pallet containers for smaller parts.Shrink wrap parts for shipment or on-site storage.Inspect wrapped parts and use a vacuum to tightly seal them for shipment.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools and power tools.Previous work experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPackaging and kitting experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work is conducted on-site at an outdoor warehouse that is not climate-controlled. You must be comfortable working in hot temperatures during summer and cold temperatures in winter, with fans and heaters provided based on the season. The shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with possible overtime of up to 2 hours daily. Occasional Saturday work is required. Upon arrival, employees park in the front lot, check in with security, and walk through the yard to the back warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
