We are currently working on Ineos project one located in Antwerp harbour region and handle 90%+ of all heavy lifting on site. On the project site, we will deliver all kinds of hoisting services, as from the smallest lift till the biggest load-out, in a safe, qualitative and efficient way.
Role & Responsibilities Safety is always top-of-mind Daily communication with the team about the duties/ project (crane operators, riggers, supervisor) Assembling and dismantling the crane. Independently and correctly performing lifting operations. As a crane operator, you are responsible for your own equipment. Operating, cleanliness, first-line trouble shooting, of the crane and all accessories.
In this position, you will report to the Supervisor. You work partly independently, as well as in a team. In addition, you will be part of a big on-site operational crew: riggers, crane operators, supervisors, site managers, SHEQ coordinators etc.
About You
We are looking for an experienced crane operator, a stress-resistant initiator and team player. A high degree is a nice asset, but we attach more importance to the right mentality: sense of responsibility, logical insight, eye for safety, flexible attitude and respectful communication.
Profile Requirements: Strong experience as a telescopic crane operator, at least 3 years proven experience with 50T to 220T capacity hydraulic cranes Hoisting / safety certificate is mandatory. A drivers Licence C or CE is strongly recommended Basic knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics Solid knowledge of English to ensure smooth communication on site A TCVT certification would be highly preferred, or you can take the test once you arrive, similar to an ECOL
We offer: Project Based, Belgian contract - full-time (Possible in a rotation system). Estimated time: 12-18 months We offer a 6-2 rotation, and we will provide accommodation and flights Certification support if needed Hourly rate – 50 hours minimum a week to be paid Overtime available – Over 42 weekly hours = 150%, Saturday = 150%, Sunday = 200% NET €20 per day - Per diem €17.50 phone allowance if needed / use phone for work The next step
