**Job Title: Crane CDL Operator** Job Description As a Crane CDL Operator, you will be responsible for the pre-inspection of trucks, loading materials, and ensuring the accuracy of loads. You will set up job parameters and inspect sites to maintain a safe environment for unloading. This role involves unloading trucks at sites, setting up barriers, occasionally lifting heavy shingles, and utilizing a truck-mounted crane. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and adherence to all safety protocols while wearing appropriate PPE is mandatory. Regular communication with the dispatcher is required to ensure timely delivery of products, and any potential hazards must be reported to branch management. Responsibilities + Pre-inspect trucks and load materials while verifying the accuracy of loads. + Set up job parameters and inspect sites for safe unloading conditions. + Unload trucks at sites, set up barriers, and occasionally lift heavy shingles. + Operate a truck-mounted crane. + Demonstrate daily commitment to safety and adhere to all safety protocols. + Wear appropriate PPE at all times. + Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries. + Report any potential hazards to branch management. Essential Skills + CDL Class A license + NCCCO Crane Operator certification + 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + NCCCO & Crane Institute Certification + Valid Class A/B CDL license in good standing + Experience operating a knuckle boom crane truck or similar equipment + Preferred experience driving a manual transmission truck + Experience operating heavy equipment for unloading + In-depth knowledge of crane operations, rigging techniques, and relevant safety regulations + Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions + Ability to work independently and in a team environment Why Work Here?
