Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Crane and Rigging Specialist responsible for developing and executing comprehensive rigging plans, ensuring safety compliance, managing equipment, and fostering a knowledgeable and safety-conscious work environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute rigging plans, selecting appropriate equipment and coordinating with crane operators, site supervisors, and other teams.Ensure all rigging operations adhere to safety regulations through risk assessments and safety procedure enforcement.Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure it meets safety standards and remains in good working order.Train and mentor junior riggers and crew members to foster a safety-conscious work environment.Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, load calculations, and safety checklists.Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and other contractors to ensure smooth operations.Perform load calculations and assessments to ensure safe and efficient rigging operations.Select and requisition rigging equipment and materials as needed for operations.Oversee the setup and operation of rigging equipment, troubleshooting and resolving any issues or emergencies that arise.Participate in safety meetings and contribute to incident prevention strategies.Monitor the performance of the rigging crew, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.Essential Skills
Strong leadership and communication skills.In-depth knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analysis.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of relevant regulations.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
