This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Craft Superintendent serves as a key liaison between field crews, project management, and clients. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise and direct craft personnel including electricians, pipefitters, welders, carpenters, and other trades. + Plan and schedule work activities in coordination with project managers and other superintendents. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications. + Monitor productivity and quality of work; implement corrective actions as needed. + Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage. + Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. + Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. + Assist in resolving field issues and conflicts to minimize project delays. + Provide training and mentorship to craft workers to promote skill development and career growth. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. + Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. + Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. + OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred. **Working Conditions:** + Work is performed primarily on job sites in varying weather conditions. + May require extended hours, weekends, and travel depending on project needs. + Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment.
