If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you are invited to apply for this role.** **Position Summary:** The Craft Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of skilled craft workers on construction or industrial job sites. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Craft Superintendent serves as a key liaison between field crews, project management, and clients. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise and direct craft personnel including electricians, pipefitters, welders, carpenters, and other trades. + Plan and schedule work activities in coordination with project managers and other superintendents. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications. + Monitor productivity and quality of work; implement corrective actions as needed. + Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage. + Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. + Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. + Assist in resolving field issues and conflicts to minimize project delays. + Provide training and mentorship to craft workers to promote skill development and career growth. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. + Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. + Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. + OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred. **Working Conditions:** + Work is performed primarily on job sites in varying weather conditions. + May require extended hours, weekends, and travel depending on project needs. + Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment.
