Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).

The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. Andaz Lisbon is looking for a Commis/ Cozinheiro 2ª Overnight Shift to join its team

Responsibilities:

· Assist with ingredient preparation and overnight mise-en-place according to instructions from the direct supervisor, ensuring readiness for breakfast and next-day service.

· Execute assigned dishes, preparations, and components with precision and attention to detail, following recipe cards and hotel standards.

· Support overnight food production, batch cooking, and pre-preparation for multiple outlets as required.

· Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, strictly adhering to HACCP and food safety standards during night operations.

· Ensure correct receiving, storage, labeling, and stock rotation of goods handled during the overnight shift, checking quality and expiration dates.

· Carry out overnight cleaning routines and ensure workstations and equipment are left organized and ready for the morning team.

· Monitor production timelines to ensure all preparations are completed within set overnight schedules.

· Communicate effectively with the morning kitchen team through proper handover, ensuring continuity and operational efficiency.

· Work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating responsibility, professionalism, and reliability during night shifts.
