The Opportunity:

The United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia has a requirement for litigation support. The mission of the US Attorney’s Office (USAO) is to prosecute and defend cases on behalf of the federal government.  The Courtroom Graphics Specialist plays a critical role in supporting legal proceedings by designing and delivering clear, visually compelling materials for courtroom presentations.

We are seeking a Graphics Specialist to support the Civil and Criminal Division in the eDiscovery Section in creating professional visual materials for use in court proceedings and case presentations. This role requires a creative, tech-savvy individual who can blend design, video editing, and basic IT troubleshooting to produce impactful and accurate visual exhibits.


Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain engaging visual graphics for litigation use, ensuring clarity and impact in courtroom settings.Create and produce timelines, document excerpts, diagrams, scene recreations, and other visual aids to support legal arguments.Perform video editing and format conversions for multimedia evidence.Provide audio/visual system support, including setup and teardown for courtroom technology.Deliver basic IT support, including troubleshooting printers, network connections, Wi-Fi, and VPN-related issues as needed for presentations.Ensure all visual materials and evidence are accurately and efficiently presented in legal proceedings.


Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience.Strong proficiency in graphic design, infographics, and Microsoft PowerPoint.Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and MS PowerPoint; experience with WordPress, Webflow, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver is preferred.Ability to design, create, and refine mockups for web-based platforms.Must be able to provide a portfolio of independently produced graphic work.Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and meet tight deadlines.Proven success in collaborative, team-oriented environments.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,600 - $122,100
